Terms of Service
Last updated August 5, 2026
These terms cover your use of Fluid, including our website, our dashboard, and the AI agents we build and run for you. By using Fluid you agree to them. Fluid is operated by Fluid LLC, an Iowa limited liability company based in Johnston, Iowa.
What Fluid does
We build AI agents that perform repetitive office work, and we run them on your behalf. What each agent does is defined in a written playbook we agree with you. We also build websites and custom software under separate written agreements.
Your account
- Accounts are created by us for named people at your business. Keep your sign-in email secure and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
- You are responsible for what the people you authorize do in your account.
Connected accounts
To do useful work, agents need permission to access systems you already use. By connecting an account you confirm that you have the right to grant that access, including on behalf of your employer or your organization if the account is not personally yours.
You can revoke any connection at any time. Doing so will stop the agents that depend on it.
Approval and your responsibility for output
Agents draft work. Unless you have explicitly moved an agent to send automatically, nothing leaves your systems without your approval.
AI makes mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing what an agent produces before it goes to a customer, a regulator, or anyone else. Fluid does not provide legal, financial, tax, insurance, medical, or other professional advice, and agent output is not a substitute for a qualified professional's judgment. If your industry is regulated, you remain responsible for compliance.
What agents will not do
Regardless of settings, our agents are built so they cannot:
- send to large lists or perform mass outreach,
- spend money or move funds,
- permanently delete your data.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Fluid to:
- break the law or infringe someone else's rights,
- send spam or deceptive messages,
- access accounts or data you are not authorized to access,
- attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer, or overload the service.
Fees
Fees, billing frequency, and the scope of work are set out in the written proposal or order you sign with us. Unless that document says otherwise, fees are billed monthly in advance and are not refundable for a period already served. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current period.
Your data and ours
Your data stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy.
The Fluid platform, our software, and our agent templates remain ours. The playbook we write for your business, and the work product your agents produce, are yours.
Availability
We work to keep Fluid running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We depend on third parties such as email and accounting providers, and their outages or changes can stop an agent from working.
Liability
Fluid is provided as is, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using Fluid at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to by law. On termination we will delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email account holders before it takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Polk County, Iowa.
